Alex was born March 11, 1963 in Epsom, United Kingdom. She studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Kingston started her professional career in 1980 and slowly rose to prominence during 1990’s.
Kingston started dating her classmate from the academy, Ralph Fiennes. They got married in 1993 but their relationship took a serious hit when her husband cheated on her few years later. They eventually divorced. Alex remarried twice and currently lives in USA with her third husband Jonathan Stamp.
