Amanda was born July 9, 1987 in Seattle, Washington to a teacher and vice president of finance. This young American girl was convicted in Italy of murder of another student. But in 2015, Italy’s highest court overturned previous convictions and freed Amanda after more than seven years of imprisonment. Back in USA, Knox was studying for linguistics degree at the University of Washington.
