Betty was born December 18, 1916 in St. Louis, Missouri into the family with English, Dutch, Irish, and German ancestry. Her professional career started in early 1930s but she rose to prominence in 1940’s. Some of her famous movies include Moon Over Miami, Song of the Islands, Pin Up Girl, and How to Marry a Millionaire. Betty Grable was married twice and died of lung cancer on July 2, 1973.
