Mikaela was born March 13, 1995 in Vail, Colorado. Both of her parents are former professional ski racers which makes her career choice pretty self-explanatory. She got the great genes and lessons from them. Not relying solely on skying, Shiffrin studied at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. Today, she belongs to the best alpine ski racers in the world.
Shiffrin won her first Olympic gold medal in 2014 in Sochi and repeated her success at the very next Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. And what about her personal life?
