Molly was born on June 6, 1989 in San Francisco, California.She studied St. Ignatius College Preparatory and Boston College where she earned Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Broadcast Journalism in 2011. After the graduation, McGrath started working as a production assistant for ESPN. After that, she had several other jobs before returning to ESPN, this time as a reporter and host.
